This line can support 24 separate voice lines or be broken up to provide voice and data communications, such as high speed internet. T1's are known for being a very reliable connection and most come with a Service Level Agreement that guarantees at least 99.9% up time. In recent years T1 line prices have dropped dramatically. Only a few years ago they were off limits to small business due to the costs involved. The largest growth we are now seeing in the T1 market is with small and medium size businesses. As large businesses require more and more bandwidth many are moving to larger capacity circuits such as T3 lines, which is the equivalent of 28 T1s. |
